What kind of items can I sell at the Fall/Winter Sale?


Fall / Winter items

• Baby items
  
• Furniture: Dresser, baby beds, pack-n-play, changing tables, high chairs, bouncy seats and much more.
  
• Attention: If you are bringing a car seat - Car seat waiver forms will need to be filled out at your drop off appointment once your car seat is approved.
  
• No car seats that have been in a wreck
  
• Must have all straps and parts.
  
• No wear or fading.
  
• Infant seats and strollers are accepted.
  

ALL strollers MUST be clean. If not clean, you will be asked to clean them at check-in. Remember selling a non working car seat is illegal and you could be held responsible. If I do not have a waiver signed, the car seat will be placed to the side. Thank you for your understanding.

Baby bedding: needs to be organized: use a large clear bag for bedding, dust ruffle and shams. A picture and note card with description is a good idea. This will help the item sell better.

• Baby clothing: There is no limit but PLEASE pick your best!
  
• Baby onsie’s need to be long sleeve but if with a set they can be short sleeve. Remember Fall/Winter
  
• Just be very selective and remember that if you would not buy it? We will not sell it!!
  

Maternity Clothing and Items

• This is a good seller but these items must look nice and HAVE to be free of wrinkles. They are not going to sell if they look messy.
  
• Short sleeve fall like will be accepted
  
• Capri fall like pants will be accepted
  
• Dresses must be fall like
  
• Breast pumps cannot have the tubing sold. They can purchase this separately.
  
• Ideas: Motherhood books, pregnancy books and anything related to maternity will be accepted in excellent condition.
  

Children’s items to sell

• Book’s (child, positive teen or maternity related only)
  
• Dvd’s, cd’s, tapes (need to be packaged neatly and labeled)
  
• Video games, video game systems (all parts must work and be place securely together with note card with all items labeled)
  
  Note: any item above not in working condition will subject the seller to a $10 fee and removal from the seller list. Again, you must know that these items are in working condition because the buyers do not want to go home and it not work. I am very firm on this policy!!!
  
  
• Toys: Riding toys with chargers only, wagons, bikes, playsets, doll houses (make sure all small parts are attached well) and much more. Remember, it is nearing Christmas and these items will sell!!!
  
• Backpack’s, Children’s luggage, diaper bags!
  
• Baby toys:
  
  Attention:
  
• These items must be clean, nice and free of wear! No one wants to buy something that looks very used.
  
• Suggestions: Blocks (Bagged and taped off together), push toys, plush animals ( Only Disney or Characters well known): Ex. Winne the pooh, tiger, buzz, woody, mickey or Minnie..(please send e-mail if you have a question on these). CLEAN!!
  
• Rattles and toys that need to be sterilized must not show any signs of not being cleaned!!! They will be rejected. Soak in water and bleach.
  
• Learning toys are great!
  
• No Potty seats!!!!
  
  

Children’s fall/winter clothing:

• Jack and Jill Kids is known for quality name brand clothing: examples include: Abercrombie, Hollister, Aereopostle, Kelly’s Kids, Chez Ami, Gap, Just Ducky, Polo, Rags Land and much much more! Let’s keep the quality coming!
  
• Winter Jackets/coats, rain coats ( NO Spring Like Coats)
  
• Long sleeve clothing
  
• NO….. worn long sleeve tee shirts and free of graphics that are not appropriate.
  
• Jeans are accepted but be selective because we will too! (no worn knees or worn edges unless made to look this way).
  
• Short sleeve boys collar shirts are accepted. Only Fall like shirts. They will be rejected if they look spring like!
  
• Only girls capris will be accepted that are fall like. Denim, Khaki, or darker colors.
  
• Girls short sleeve school uniform shirts only.
  
• No Shorts
  
• Halloween Costumes: Great Sellers! Please have all items that go with the costume and in great condition.
  

Uniforms:

School uniforms will be accepted and need to be very gently used. No fading or wear please. This does include GMC, St. Joseph Catholic, and other specific uniforms in our area.
Also, non specific uniforms will be accepted as well.

Monogrammed:

• Single letter and multiple letter accepted
  
• Be aware that these do sell but keep them to a minimum.
  
• Monogrammed names accepted
  

Teen Clothing:

• Only name brand will be accepted. No worn long sleeve t’s or jeans. Some are meant to look worn and we can tell those items.
  
• Ex. Abercrombie, Aeropostle, American Eagle, Hollister, Old Navy, Gap, Polo and more.
  
• Sizes up to 16. I know some of these will me S, M, L or XL.
  

Formal and Pageant wear:

• Formal wear gowns are accepted. Please try to have them in a secure bag or covering to ensure that they are kept in great condition.
  
• Pageant Dresses: these need to be covered as well and in excellent condition.
  
• Please understand that Jack and Jill Kids cannot be responsible for missing beads, sequins etc. There were no problems in the spring.
  

Shoes:
Only fall/winter shoes: Please keep this to your VERY best. I do not have a limit but if everyone would be selective, it would be much better. I am PICKY on shoes.

• No worn toes
  
• No stains ( Georgia red clay)
  
• No shoe strings
  
• Tags must be secure
  
• Do not place tape over the barcode!!
  
• You can use zip-loc bags or make sure they are tied together very good. I like the zip loc bags because they are less likely to get lost. This is a little harder with larger shoes.
  
• Only Fall/Winter like….
  

Things not to bring to Jack and Jill Kids

• Clothing that is wrinkled (PLEASE remember that it will not sell if it looks bad. I want my sale to remain known for organization and neatness.
  
• Worn clothing in any way
  
• No sweat clothes unless name brand: Ex. GAP, American Eagle, and more. If you can buy it at Walmart for $5, DO not bring it here and ask $4 for it. Thank you
  
• No used undergarments ( Only new items)….
  
• Socks should be packaged in a zip-loc bag and sealed.
  
• Bottles must be like new and boiled in bleach and water!
  
• If there are problems with this I will only sell the bottle and not the nipples.
  
• Worn shoes with stains and scuffs on the toe.
  
• Any item that is worn or not in good condition will be rejected.
  
• All small parts must be secure or the item will get pulled.
  
• NO ITEMS that smell like smoke!!
  
  

Jack and Jill Kids will not be held responsible for any items brought that do not meet the (Consumer Product Safety Commission Standards) These items that have been recalled are your responsibility as a seller to be aware and not bring them to this sale!
